Dr. Emmanuel-Pierre Guittet is lecturer in Politics at the School of Social Sciences, University of Manchester. He is teaching courses on terrorism and antiterrorism, political violence, political movements and social change, international relations, security studies and methodology of research. He is associate researcher at the International Centre for Comparative Criminology (University of Montreal) and at the Canada Research Chair in Security, Identity and Technology. He is also a member of the International Political Sociology section at the International Studies Association (ISA) and a member of the Critical Approach to Security in Europe network (C.a.s.e. Collective). He is editor of the book series Security published by Athena publishers at Montreal (Quebec).
